Thanks for the great examples, 📚 and podcasts! I feel like I need to hear & read more to make it stick in my life. Love the idea 💡 and we do not take it to this level, but I truly believe it is needed.

Becca! Really enjoyed this! Thank you for sharing! I do have questions- probably my overworked mind and body determining what “day”? and how the family schedules need to slow down too! What an incredible gift to our families to create special traditions on this day of rest as well. I’m going to have to go and listen to the podcast you recommended!

Oh and we'll talk more about the concept of a weekly day of rest next week (on Monday and Wednesday) because this topic is a big life-changer!

(This is from Hope but Becca is welcome to reply too!) I don't think the day matters! In our family, we used to do Friday night to Saturday night because church on Sundays was stressful and DIDN'T feel Sabbath-y lol, but now church is a wonderful part of our day of rest, so our Sabbath is from Saturday night to Sunday night :) I also recommend the Fight Hustle, End Hurry podcast.

Love this! Thank you!!! I know we are in the middle of spring sports and I’m going a little crazy! Needing to truly recognize the Sabbath!!
