June Recap & July Announcements!
a digest of all this month's posts + looking ahead to next month
Hello! I hope June has been a rich and meaningful month for you. We’ve had a great time talking about health, strength, food, summer, and lots more!
As usual, this last week of the month is devoted to catching up, reflecting, and resting. Feel free to save the graphics in this email to your phone for quick reference.
If you evaluated how you felt about your own health last month, here’s a reminder to try it again. Fill in the circles from 1 to 10 then peek at what you filled in at the beginning of the month! Was there progress? I would bet that if there was progress in the “physical” section, there was progress in the other sections too 🙌
Here are all the posts we sent out this month! Free subscribers receive access to about 1-2 posts from each week, but paid subscribers get to see everything 😊 (Members-only posts have a 🔒 next to them.)

What to Expect in July
June’s theme was “Health and Strength”, and July’s theme will be *drumroll* childlikeness! While last month was a bit more serious, this next month will be all about play, silliness, stories, and fun…and why those things are extremely valuable. It’s going to be a great month!
Here are some discussion questions to get your family prepped for what we will be talking about next month ⬇️
Instead of choosing one book for Book Club, we just encourage you to pick up a fiction novel or series to read to your kids or enjoy for yourself. The rule is you have to enjoy it, so look for a story that compels you. In our family, we’ll be re-reading The Green Ember by S.D. Smith (because rabbits + swords = awesome) and my oldest and I will be listening to the audiobook of Mistborn: The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson.
If you are new to the world of reading aloud, The Read-Aloud Family by Sarah Mackenzie (and her podcast Readaloud Revival) are great places to start.
Thanks for reading. Feel free to share about Family Scripts with friends or on social media!
Warmly,
Hope and the Family Scripts team
Thanks for putting the cooking camp together in one pdf. I’m printing it out now and am planning to do it again later in the summer (& when our grocery store has some of these ingredients in stock! 😮) Hazel loved cooking some of these with me!! I wouldn’t have tried it if not for “cooking camp”. 😊
