September Announcements
The theme for September’s newsletters is *drumroll* Curiosity and Humility. We’ll be talking about how being humble and curious (yes, even as an adult) can lead to compassion, growth, and even relaxation!
As always, we’ve got lots of fun activities (and free printables!) planned for you that shouldn’t cost you extra money or effort. We love simplicity around here.
This is the first time our monthly book club pick is actually a book about parenting…and even more than parenting, it’s about being humble and learning from three different cultures who seem to have figured out things better than what’s become normal in the Western world. Hunt, Gather, Parent by Michaeleen Doucleff, PhD is interesting, well-written, and very applicable. It’s quite humbling 😬 but so good.
As always, if there’s something you would like to see in the newsletter—or if you feel like there’s some wisdom you could contribute!—please reach out at family.scripts.info@gmail.com or by DMing us on Instagram.
Thanks for reading! See you next week!
Warmly,
Hope from Family Scripts
P.S. If you aren’t a paid subscriber yet, why not try a couple weeks free? 😊
And if you have been reading, would you mind sharing one of your favorite articles with a friend or on social media? It would mean so much!
Thanks again!
I love the topic of curiosity and humility, Hope -- can't wait to see what you come up with in September!
